My New Bone Folder

Just 2 days ago I received my brand new bone folder.. & I m totally loving it!!!
take a look...

this pic doesnt do justice to how it looks.. its a perfect pink colour like that girly one.. n those tiny stones on it make it look so beautiful along with that print.. its martha stewart's bone folder.. though it looks a little costly but i feel bone folder is one of those things totally worth investing for..

Have a crafty day

Copics Arrive In India Now

Hello there,

just a quick post today. I am really busy these days but wanted to share a good news that Copic markers are now available in India. Himalaya Fine Art in Mumbai at Nana Chawk has them. Was on their site looking for something when I came across copics.

Now they may have come there quite  some time ago but I saw it just now n saw thought would let u know all. It says they have all copic colours n also Copic Air Brushing system.. I personally find them quite costly yet so I m not gonna buy yet.. but if any of u eager stampers were waiting for this than u should take a look. I know copics are something worth putting ur money in..

P.S.: I have no association with himalaya fine arts n in no way I m getting any benefits by posting this. This post is just for ur information..

for those of u who may not know how to quill hope on to this blog as piyu will be adding tutorial one after the other. good way to start quilling now..
also dont forget to check her creatio on her blog. she has amazing quilling work done..

n here is the close up of bookmark. as u can see I have used only white colour including the ribbon. just felt like making it monochromatic. i hope to see lots of u participating in net challenge..

Recently I have found a pack of 6 by 6 patterned paper in local market. It contains  10 sheets of different designs. Also there is similar pack of 6 by 6 woolly papers containing 10 sheets of different designs. [some packs can contain 2 sheets of similar pattern].
I have some samples but it is late right now so I m not able to take picture of papers.  I ll do it in a day or two n than u can mail me if u are interested in buying.
each pack is for 25Rs. postal charges extra..

Any One For 6 by 6 Patterned papers

Hey there,
I know we all like to buy those nice looking patterned papers. But sometimes they seem costly to us.
So I got an idea from a friend of mine.
Well lot of us are buying products from Itsy Bitsy. they have each patterned paper for 20Rs plus shipping charges. So I thought of an idea.  They have total of 48 double sided patterned papers as of now. So I ll send each person a pack of 6 by 6 patterned papers containing all 48 papers.
This way you will get an idea about all papers available there & at the same time u will be able to decide which papers to buy in large sheet or not.
if u think u r interested in this than kindly mail me at nehagala86@yahoo.co.in
If i get enough people interested than I  ll decide cost n everything n let u know.
please let other fellow crafters know about this.
more the merrier..

So after a looong time I tried my hand at quilling. This card is made for a challenge over at Quilling Challenge by Regina. Also it is card I m gonna give to my sister on her coming b'day on 29th july.
Challenge was to create quilled card using monochromatic colours. so I have used shades of pink. those 7 petal flowers that look like red are actually dark pink. Sorry that my camera is not picking up exact colors.

Card For July Challenge At InStyle Stamps

So here is my take for InStyle Stamps July Sketch Challenge.
Except for base card stock all supplies used are given by a friend as RAK [thanks again Baukje]
yes she did send me some stamped Tilda's n it was my first time to use Tilda.
I colored her using faber castle pencil colors. & than just went over the colors with eraser pen i have in my set of OHP marker. I dont know if there is any blender medium available. So i just used what I had..
though it doesnt give u the look u get with copic markers but I was happy with the way she looks..

Some ATC's I made Last Month

So here I m showing u 2 ATC's I made last month for Crazy About ATC's. Theme was "Ethnic India". This was first time ever I made an ATC. Beleive me after I signed up for it I was actually thinking for 2days about how can I create something on such a small piece of card? but eventually I managed to find something.

This is done by using fevicol glue on OHP sheet. I first laid down image under OHP sheet than traced it with very fine lines of fevicol glue. I made cone like that of heena n made this fine lines. Than let them dry overnight n next day coloured with OHP markers. Had to be very careful while colouring since lines turn out absolutely transparent.

This second ATC is done by parchment craft. It was my first attempt at colouring parchment. Wasnt very happy how colours come up though. They tend to turn so light when seen from front. I hope to find some other way to colour parchment. If anyone knows it please tell me.. I know u can see tape stuck at for courners that is because I dont have any special adhesive for parchment paper so I used routine 2 sided tape.

Hope u like my creation.
